Annual Free Throw Contest Held
The Knights of Columbus hosted their annual Free Throw contest in conjunction with the St. Columban School PE class on January 8th - 12th and hosted a separate day for kids in the parish that are not enrolled in the school on Jan 6th.
A special thanks to Donna Muchmore and Sean Sherman for allowing the K of C to once again host our Free Throw contest.
Boys and Girls ages 9-14 competed by shooting 15 free throws.
The Winners were:
Girls (age) – Jennifer Sullivan (9), Brooke Stevens (10), Aubrey Lambert (11), Annabelle Morris (12), Claire Sunderman (13), Emma McDole (14)
Boys (age) – Davis Toerpe (9), Camden Danko (10), Jack Rigby (11), Ben Schnettler (12), William Chadwell (13), Anthony Iona (14).
The winners advanced to the District competition on January 28th where Jennifer Sullivan, Davis Toerpe, Brooke Stevens, Camden Danko, Jack Rigby, Annabelle Morris, and Emma McDole all won their respective age groups and will advance to the Regional competition at Bishop Fenwick on February 25th.
